Our road trip to Savannah was a HUGE success. We drove down from DC and stopped to visit family along the way. Below were some definite hits from our trip.
Tybee Island
We climbed the amazing lighthouse, frolicked on a nearby beach and explored the history of Fort Pulaski.
City of Savannah
The beautiful gardens and Spanish moss give this city its charm. It is fascinating how this city embraces the new while still marking its troubled past. We ate delicious food, ran through parks and took the city in.
Savannah Bananas
This was truly the highlight of the trip. This team entertained and dazzled us with their dancing and baseball skills. Sitting in the historic Grayson Stadium on a beautiful evening was just perfect.
