Arrange airport transport ahead of time. When you arrive at the airport, you can look for your transport at the baggage claim exit.
Pack extra snacks for airport arrival. Baggage claim wait times at Cancun Airport can be brutal.
Make dinner reservations after you check in. The restaurants are all delicious but they do fill up.
If you are planning any trips to Mayan ruins or nearby tourist attractions, you should absolutely book a tour guide. It does not have to be through the hotel, but you will want a tour guide to bypass lines or wait times.
Don't forget the spa! It is a magical place and worth every penny.
